Hey everybody, Rob Orgel, we're at CanCon 2024. And it's so weird, I just bumped into Nick at the Banish Silencer Center. Which one are we at right now? Silencer Center, right? - Silencer Center. - Gosh, okay. Because you have the Banish Silencer. That's why my brain's doing that. And I walked by and I see this guy, I'm like, I think I know him, start chatting. And he texts me his info, and I says, Nick Hanish, I have to have met you before I know that, so it's such a small industry. - It is, especially when you're in this industry. Everyone knows everybody. - And it's wonderful. It's good. It keeps people honest and good to each other. I love it. Okay, so we all know, I'm not a big fan of back pressure. I got two or three big questions for this year's booth, and Nick, and that is the 5.56 and 30 cal Banish suppressors. They're a little bit high on the back pressure. - So yes and no, they do have back pressure. So gonna be a comfortable experience for the actual shooter. - You're talking higher back pressure that's usually gonna be on your AR platforms. So when you're running an adjustable gas blocks and things like that. - So we need to tune it down to keep it comfortable. - Yes. - Okay.

Now I don't have a Banish, I've got a client who has one, so that's how I was able to test it. It did have back pressure, but it was very quiet. I'd like to get hands-on time. I'd like to do a muzzle flash and head-to-head comparison with your original 5.56. But you're gonna change the industry because you've got a new device specifically for back pressure and it's tiny. - Yeah, yeah. - So this is our new Banish Speed K. We released this at SHOT Show this past year. It's more of a heavy duty 5.56 can. So with all that back pressure, how this can works is there is a four linear baffle stack on the inside of this can. What that means is your first two baffles right here, those are facing towards the actual suppressor or the end of the barrel. That's for your sounds. That's for all the sound and whatnot. You have two baffles on the end of the can, those are facing back towards you and that's where that whole back pressure system really comes into play. - Super interesting. And this is not just short, but it's also the hub system. So you can pick your mount and go crazy with whatever type.

It's super short. - Yeah, four inches. - And if you're a little bit heavy, it's not bad because it's so short, you probably won't really notice. I gotta get my hands on one, I gotta test it. - Yeah, absolutely. We have one up on the range. We can definitely get you up there and try it out. For sure. - And I need one at home in my safe and I wanna compare side by side with all the good stuff. You'll make that email happen. - I'll do what I can do, all right. - I'd love to hear it and for you viewers, you wanna see this little tiny short fat guy and see how well he performed. Make sure you like, comment, subscribe for much more content. Nick, great chat with you. - Absolutely. - I'll send you an email so I'll get some more hands on top. - Absolutely, absolutely. Thanks man. - As always, stay safe.
