Hey folks, Rob Orgel here, during CANCON 2024 we stopped by the Dead Air booth—one of my personal favorites. Let’s jump right into their latest goodies, which have seriously caught my eye.

Dead Air’s Latest: Nomad Ti XC and More

First up, the Nomad series. If you know me, you know I’ve been a huge fan of the Nomad L. But wait till you hear about what’s next—the Nomad Ti. This new kid on the block is 3D printed from Grade 5 titanium, making it not just a looker but a performer too. The best part? It’s designed to have no barrel restrictions. That’s a big deal because it opens up the possibilities for different firearms without worrying about compatibility issues.

Lighter, Better, More Versatile

The new variant is slightly lighter but packs the same punch in terms of decibel reduction. What’s not to love about that? And guess what? We’ve got some of these beauties on order, and they’ll be getting some special treatment to ensure you get to see them in action here before anywhere else.

Dealing with the Heat

Now, moving on to something that’s often overlooked—the heat management of suppressors. This isn’t just about durability or performance; it’s about user safety too. No one wants to end a good shooting day with a burn from a hot suppressor. Dead Air’s got this covered with their innovative designs that keep the heat away from your hands and face.

Mojave 9: The Low Back Pressure Champion

Next, let’s talk about the Mojave 9. This suppressor is a standout for its modular design and low back pressure, which you know I absolutely despise. It’s not just about being able to shoot comfortably; it’s about shooting safely without all that gas blowing back in your face. Plus, it’s versatile—you can run it full auto on a 3-lug, or fit it with different mounts for various firearms. This is the kind of flexibility that makes a suppressor not just a tool, but a vital part of your shooting arsenal.

A Word on the Industry and Community

Before we wrap up, a quick note on the community. Look, not everyone in the comment sections is your best friend. People love to rant, rave, and get angry. But here’s the thing—we’re all in this because we love this industry. We’re here for the real conversations, the advancements, and yes, even the debates. So let’s keep it respectful, constructive, and maybe even a bit fun?

Looking Forward

As always, I’m pumped to get these new suppressors out on the range for some thorough testing. Stay tuned for detailed reviews and side-by-side comparisons to see how these new entries stack up against the classics.
