Hey everybody, Rob Orgel, we're at CanCon 2024, and I'll tell you what, I gotta let you know a little secret. I like BNT suppressors. I like my sure fires, sure. I like my, what, the dead airs and the silencer. They're great, but I really do have a special spot in my heart for BNT. Now let me tell you why. First, I got Chris here with me to talk about where BNT came from, and they're not new. I know it seems like they might be because they're new to the US, but they're not new. Tell us about it. - And so BNT is one of the largest, if not the largest suppressor manufacturer in the world that you may have never heard of. So we've been in business for 34 years. We're the OE manufacturer for all HK suppressors, Glock, FN, CZ, Beretta, FN, and so on and so forth. So we've sold suppressors to government agencies and the military and the United States. Right, but you can't import suppressors for commercial sale, which meant that we've got, we have to stand up a commercial, or stand up a manufacturing facility. - Here in the US. - Here in the US. So we did that in 2022, and we make a one-to-one clone of the suppressors that the Swiss make. Same material. We actually import raw material from Switzerland to make these suppressors. Same programs, same montage techniques. All of our technicians are Swiss trained. Like they are a one-to-one clone. - And you have some of your engineers that have been moved here to just nail the quality control. - Yeah, they are one-to-one clones. Like you could mix up parts from the Swiss and parts from the US shake them up, and assemble the pressures. They are a one-to-one clone. - So I have to say that before 2024, I thought BNT was cool. The Mars system, I was in the Marine Corps, so seeing those around was like, ooh, I wanna try that. And that was nifty, but it was a birdcage or a proprietary. I was like, maybe I'll get the Surefire one, but then 2024, the Hub system. Now you've got hubs for all that civilian market who wants their own favorite muzzle device. - Yeah, exactly. So what we've tried to do is like BNT offers over 600 different suppressors. Like it's super confusing. So what we've tried to do is streamline choices for people. So one way to do that is by doing a hub compatible suppressor.

You've got a Surefire, like Pin and Welder on your Geisselle or whatever, Daniel Fenskund. Like you don't have to buy a Surefire suppressor anymore. You don't have to use our suppressor either. But now you've got a hub that is compatible with any Surefire muzzle device, as well as T's flash hiders and muzzle brakes.

And they integrate seamlessly into our suppressors. - I have to say, the BNT, the reason, oh, we're cold. The reason why I like the BNT muzzle device over the Surefire muzzle device is because you don't have to time it. And you can just screw it right on. So if you want to move it from gun to gun, there's no timing with the birdcage that's flat on one side. So right away, when I saw this, I said, I need one of those. When I saw this hub system, so like, okay, you don't need to put a Surefire muzzle device on your gun to have a Surefire silencer. You can now have a silencer coat. You can have a BNT. You can have anything you want. They're a bit expensive. - Right now, but they are made of 100% titanium. So they're not-- - Because the mounting system is often the heaviest part of, right. - So you can now make any of your silencers go onto your Surefire system or your BNT mount. And if you're a, let's say silencer coat nut job like I am, you can get the BNT suppressor, thread on your ASR, and then start prostituting your cans to all of your favorite guns. - Flexible mounting options. - I love that. And then the reduced back pressures came out. Okay, so reduced back pressure, when we say reduced back pressure, one, it's gonna be a little louder. It's gonna be a little bit heavier. - In some cases, yeah. - But then you release the titanium. - Yeah, so here's the deal. So there's no free lunch with suppressors. Like if you've got a highly tuned gun, a Rotex is gonna be great. - You can choke the gas down. - Yeah, if you've got a Mark 18 that's super gassy-- - Way over gassed. - You need like a flow through or reduced back pressure system to really minimize that and make it comfortable.

Shooting suppressors, shooting suppress guns for prolonged period of times aren't really hazardous to your health. There's like seven different carcinogens and heavy metals that you inhale, you absorb through your eyes, your skin, your mucous membranes, and it's terrible for you. So that reduced back pressure system is designed to mitigate that as well as reduce the amount of gas. - So the reduced back pressure, and I know you guys who've been following my channel know how much I hate back pressure. So having said that, the real advantage is to reduce back pressure. When people write in the comments, "Who cares how much back pressure?" Well, you should care. It is increasing your recoil. It is causing long-term problems, and it is causing short-term problems. We did a video on it, but when you go head to head with suppressors and reduced back pressure specific suppressors, what B&T is doing, no one else is doing. I put that 5.56 suppressor on the scale with no mount attached to it, and it's just over seven ounces. That hub mount weighs like five something ounces? - Yeah, 4.9, I think, yeah. - If you put a direct thread on that thing, you get low back pressure at eight ounces, and it's just a phenomenal suppressor. And when you compare it sound-wise to the other reduced back pressure suppressors, it really is quite a performer. And it's light, and this is just, like you said, no free lunch. You're skirting on a free lunch. You're skirting on all the things I want as a suppressor. And then when I look at this gun and I say, "Oh, I love my new fill-in-the-blank rifle I bought it, "the gun store today, and I get home, "and it over gases and causes malfunctions," and I say, "Okay, fine." You don't get a silencer anymore. You will never see a suppressor. Bring that reduced back pressure or that flow-through or that whatever system you use, now that guy can go back to being suppressed because you don't need to tinker with its inner guts, which is predominantly what the military is looking for. That big deviation, military wants, "Don't eff up the reliability of my weapon." - 100%. - Yeah. - 100%. - Civilian says quiet, and you're giving us both to some degree. - We are 100%. So like our slimline reduced back pressure system is the most general purpose suppressor I think that you can get right now. And I guess to hit on some of your military aspects, like look, when you put a traditional suppressor on like a machine gun or a full-auto assault rifle, you get increased heat, parts wear, parts breakage, because it like, and malfunctions. - Reliability, rate of fire, tearing up, you can't shoot through that, you have to stop. - And that, but an SRVS or reduced back pressure system can will mitigate all of that. - I love it. - So we get like a zoo, we publish a one to 3% increase in cyclic rate.

We have independent testing that shows it's actually zero. We don't publish zero because nobody will believe us. - Right. - So we say one to three. - Wow, that's amazing. - Most other manufacturers are getting about 30 plus. - Okay, so we're honing on my favorite topics. We'll switch gears for a few minutes. - Sure. - When I found out what you're doing in 2024, I started blowing you guys up trying to reach out. I want to try this, you're gonna change the world with what you're doing, in my opinion, or at least in theory, let's find out. That's what this channel is about. Let's find out, not what somebody said. Let's study, let's go head to head. And I mean, I just got so excited that I dove, I think I ordered seven silencers. And now that we've talked, there's more I want, but I've got the three lug coming in because it's modular and it goes straight onto any three lug you want, long configuration, short configuration, reduced back pressure cap. And then I hear your MP5 one has three different lengths. - It does. - Which is six configurations because you can standard and you can reduce back pressure end cap. And that led me to add a question. When I saw this video and I said, "Well, you're changing the end cap and therefore it changes back pressure." - Yes, so again, there's no free lunch with a suppressor. So a reduced back pressure system, suppressor is slightly louder than a skilled system. So what we've done is we've already like, it's choose your own adventure, right? Do you want reduced back pressure? Do you not want it? So this guy, like just like you said, you essentially get four suppressors in one. You get a compact, full size RBS and then a compact, full size non-RBS. And you just change the end cap, you turn the RBS off. - So one of those things that I love about our country is you can have what you want. And when you buy a car, you go to the car lot, you discuss what you want with a guy. He helps you find the right thing, and hopefully in our world, the guy behind the counter is not always the most knowledgeable on these topics. The favorite question I like is, well, how many of those do you have? And usually I hear crickets after, or tinnitus, but crickets in its own form. And getting experience behind these weapons and saying back pressure sucks. Or you know what, I want maximum silence suppression. Okay, so you need two silencers. Here you can have the long, the short, the reduced back pressure, at the full back pressure maximum quiet. You get everything you would want out of one $200 tax stamp instead of four or six. It's catering to a client in a way that no one else has. And I love it. The MP5 one, very similar to this one, but specifically designed, excited to put that head to head with some other silencers. The 50 cal silencer, because you know, I've got my M107 and I love it. I've been sitting on the fence for a long time about the Barrett suppressor. You got a Barrett, get a Barrett suppressor. Well, then I found out you guys released a 50 cal silencer and changed my mind. - So that, so we actually make two different 50 suppressors. So one is for the M107A1, and then the other is for an AX50. And the AX50 suppressor is hearing safe. - No. - Yes. Yep. - So I need to buy another gun. - That's how it works, usually. But yeah, so that M107A1 suppressor is tuned for that gun. You get full reliability for it with it. It's a little bit louder. It's got a break on it, on the end of it. And that helps cycle the, you know, provide a hundred percent reliability. It's a little bit louder, like I said, than- - Compared to the- - Than an AX50. - But it's lighter. - Yeah, it for, it is, I don't remember what the weight is off the top of my head. I think it's right around six pounds. But that's super light for a suppressor that's- - Compared to a behemoth. - Yeah, that's that big. And that thick, so. - So the good news is we have that silencer on the way. We already submitted the order because I'm a nut job. And we've got a client who has the Barrett one. We both have 20 inch guns. We're going to go head to head, put them side by side. And you know, when you're shooting the 50 cal, it's not really about sound reduction. It's a piece you have to wear shooting anyways, but like I'll double up. But if you've got a good can on there, you don't need to double up. And it's that darn dust. I love the muzzle brake, but that dust, I mean, you're coating, you're crunchy afterwards. - So that suppressor does a number of things. So there's an issue with guys getting TBI from- - It's 10 to 30 rounds per day, or you'll detach your retina or get a TBI. - Rapid head movement. - Yeah, I had a new weapon class. - Yeah, so it's sound, it's flash, and it's reduction of recoil. You don't get that rapid acceleration. And the military's identified that as a huge problem and are taking steps right now to mitigate it. - And it limits training. TBIs are a serious thing. I've had a TBI in 2007, and I think we're still trying to figure out how to handle that stuff. We're all learning modern medicine is magical and it's all cool ways. But to reduce those kind of problems on the battlefield or in training is amazing and that we're bringing it to the civilian side of the market here in the United States is just, I'm super excited with you guys' product. I've always loved the firearms. I'm super excited to dive way deep into the suppressor things. What other silencers would you want to talk about that we have not yet covered? - Man, I mean, you've hit the high points. We make a polymer baffle 22 suppressor. It's super lightweight, weighs three and a half ounces. - Three and a half ounces? - Yeah. - Wow, and it's polymer, unlike everybody else who's doing titanium. Tell me why. - Well, it's got polymer baffles inside. It's lightweight and we can. - Wow, serviceable. - Not user serviceable, but- - Use your stuff that you pour inside. - 100%. We just got some of that stuff. We're gonna do a video on it. Jared said, "Don't do it in your house." We're just about to start pouring it in my office and he said, "Don't do it in your house." I'm glad we saved that video for another day. But the beauty of that solvent, if you have it here, is that when you have a 22 silencer that is non-serviceable, you have to get inside of it and clean it. But with this new compound you guys have, it takes all that away. - Yeah, 100%. So yeah, it's called Shell Tech. We import it from Germany. It's very, very expensive to export or import into the country. - Exactly. But it's super easy to use. You just plug one into your suppressor, pour it in, let it sit for 30 minutes, 30 minutes to two hours, depending on how dirty it is. Give it a good shake, let it sit for another 30 minutes to two hours and then drain it. Okay, so being able to clean your suppressor that you typically can't clean, not have to worry about the type of metals and that you're just using so much suppressor volume that that big container you guys sent me is gonna be good for several, several silencers. But technical question, you said 30 minutes to two hours. If I set up my can, is there any harm in doing two hours every time? - No, no, not at all. - So just do two hours, but sometimes you can shortcut. - Yeah, and the thing is you can reuse it too. - The compound. - Dump it right back into like a Tupperware. - Because it seems like a small dosage, given the volume of such reusable. - Yeah, I mean, some people-- - Filter out the clumps and go back at it. - Some people take a Tupperware container and they dump the whole thing into it and then they throw multiple suppressors into it. And then they rotate them around and then they blow them out with air. - Time after time, the ingenuity that you guys, particularly for 2024, the hub system, the Rotex reduced back pressure, the mainline system, the 50 cal can, the chemicals to clean our suppressors, if you're not paying attention to B and T and what they're doing, you're being kind of silly. I look forward to much more of your suppressors on my channel as many as I can get my hands on because I think you guys are up to some really, really cool shit. - Thank you. - Chris, really great chat with you. - I appreciate your time. - And you're gonna get me some cans, right? - We are gonna talk about that off on YouTube. - They're so good at that. We'll chat. Thank you, Chris, we appreciate it. - You're very welcome.
