Hey everybody, Rob Orgel, we're at CanCon 2024 for Silencer Syndicate. And we've got Silencer Co, we've got Mason with us and we're looking at some cool new stuff. And I have to say, some of this stuff I already have. - Sure. - Some of this stuff I don't have, and I'm super excited to get hands on, get some tests in time. I'm sure we can arrange an email. - Yeah, we're excited to talk to you about getting you some of this stuff too. - Love it, love it. Now, the one I most recently got is this guy. I'm gonna pronounce it round because I'm illiterate. It's called a? - Scythe Ti. - Like the sickle type tool. - Correct, correct. - He would use it for me. - Yes. - He told me that before I went on camera. Okay, so in my opinion, the Omega 300 is like the staple. And those of you who've been watching the channel know that I'll use that as my baseline. And this is basically an Omega 300, but better because? - So it's extremely lightweight, right? This is an all titanium fully welded construction. So when you're running a direct thread mount on this, it's gonna come in under eight ounces. It also comes in under eight inches long. So when you're talking hunting PRS, right? You're not having to add a whole bunch of length to the end of your already long barrel. You're also not having to add a weight to the end of an already heavy platform. - And we're paying a price for it in barrel length restrictions, yes? - No barrel length restrictions on a bolt gun. - That's amazing, I love it. - And this is rated up to 300 rum. - Remington Ultra Magnum and 300 Norma then as well. - Correct. - That's insane, that is a ton of pressure for you said eight ounces to take on, that's amazing. - Yeah. - Now, I was here last year, I walked by the booth, I was kinda not being all that friendly about it. And I was like, sell me on why I want an eight ounce can when, who's the guy, Rugged Alaskan TI 360, whatever they call that, five ounces. Tell me why I should have it. And the guy was so simple and like a-hole back at me and he's like, it's not quiet, ours is quiet. - Yeah. And that's basically the thing, right? And like, I know Rugged has a big following and they make some cool stuff, they really do. This is gonna be one of the quietest lightweight cans for 30-cal bolt guns on the market. - All things considered, now that I've prepared head to head, not that I have the against Rugged, but in this department of lightweight, as long as you're at a 338, because that's gonna be the Rugged. - Sure. - But if you're in 30-cal, this is it. - Yes. - Definitely hands down, no questions asked. This thing is phenomenal. And as always, the hub system that you know I love. Okay, so next. - Yeah. - Everybody saw my low back pressure video and they all commented, where's the Velos? I didn't know the Velos, that's why I didn't test it. I reached out to you guys, as always, SilencerCoast always been so kind to me. And they said, hey, we're gonna get you one at 50% off. So I took money out of my hard earned pocket, threw it on the table and I got a Velos 556, just in time to find out that there's two new models. - Yeah, we announced two new models at SHOT Show this year. They just started shipping two, three weeks ago. So we now offer the Velos 762. So that's our third-cal low back pressure. And then we also offer the Velos 556K, right? - On the Charlie Mountain system. - Correct, Charlie ASR, Charlie Thread Over Muzzle Devices, Charlie Direct Thread. So this is our 762 model. This is gonna be our 556K. - Because everybody wants smaller and quieter. Right, love it. So, I mean, it's pretty close to the 556 size, right? - It's less than a half inch longer. - Okay, so real, real close. So we can see a good comparison. Whenever you buy a full size, you're like, is it worth the small guy? And if you're talking an inch, probably an inch is a good safety. - It's fair. - This is more than an inch. - And what I always tell people too, if you're running a 556 gun, 16 inch barrel or longer, the Velos K is gonna be a fantastic option, right? If you're running 14, five or shorter, I prefer the standard length Velos 556, right? - Totally. - And then if you're running a 300 blackout pistol or an AR-10, the Velos 762 is gonna be bark none. - Which would elude that maybe one day there will be a 762K. - I can't speak to that. - It'll say that stuff out loud, Rob. Okay, and then something I, I mean, you were saying, hey, here's the new products, and I'm gonna try to cut you off and say, I know. I know the new products, but then you said there's one more and I don't know about this. - So this is our brand new all titanium nine millimeter can. This is our Spectre 9. So it's a full titanium construction. The piston housing, spring retainer, and piston for this can are also titanium. - Can I three lug it? - Yes, you can. - Can I pull auto it? - Full auto with subsonics, nine mill and 300 black. - I love it. I got it half hands on. - Semi-auto rated in supers for both of those calibers. - So this is kind of like the replacement for the Omega 9K. - I will not say replacement. The Omega 9K still has a place. Stainless is gonna have a place in the industry for a long time to come, right? So this is gonna be a little more durable for that full auto fire. - Gotcha. - But for most of us who run semi-automatic or run cans on handguns specifically, the Spectre is gonna be the better option. If you're running this on a direct thread mount for like a PCC, right? You're looking at about 3.8 ounces. - Wow. - Yeah. - I'm embarrassed to tell you how many of these I have. - No, don't be embarrassed. - I love this. - The Omega 9K is a fabulous can. - It is. - It's one of my favorite. - And it's quiet as full size pressers. - Correct. And this has the same sound signature as the 9K. - Okay, so I'm gonna send you an email because you know I'm a greedy grubby little guy. - Everyone wants their hands on a Spectre 9 right now. - It's so cool. - And if you guys haven't shot one, I highly recommend it. We've got one here at CanCon on an FN509 today and it's amazing. - New, cool, better, like the Omega 9K that I have too many of. And now I need more addiction to feed. - Right, and you gotta start doing titanium. Titanium is big right now. - It's it. - And it's big for a reason, right? - It is, it's it. And who likes heavy? - Right, exactly. - Who likes back pressure? And you're answering those questions and I love it. And thank you guys for your background and taking care of it. I look forward to much more testing on your stuff. We got a lot more silencers to come. So make sure you like, comment, subscribe and we'll see you in the comments section. - Yeah, thanks Rob. - Thank you.
