I just got back from CANCON 2024, and let me tell you, it was an eye-opener. This wasn’t my first rodeo at CANCON, but this year it truly hit home how big and impactful this event has become, especially right here in Arizona.

We’re talking about only the fourth CANCON ever and just the second one held in Arizona, but the growth? Phenomenal. The crowd was buzzing, and it’s clear that the word about what CANCON is aiming to achieve is spreading fast. And what’s that, you ask? Simply put, it’s all about getting hands-on with suppressors in a way you just can’t at most ranges.

The Real Challenge with Suppressors

Here’s the deal—when folks come up to me wanting to buy their first or next gun, I always say, “Go shoot everything you can at a range.” But with suppressors, it’s a whole different ball game. Most ranges don’t have suppressors for rent, and even if they did, the indoor setup just doesn’t do justice to understanding the true impact of a suppressor—you can’t hear the difference properly, and let’s not even start on capturing that sound on camera.

Why CANCON Is a Game-Changer

This is where CANCON steps in. It’s literally our way of giving the general public a try-before-you-buy experience that’s so easy and accessible.
