Hey, everybody. Rob Orgel. We're at CANCON at Phoenix, Arizona. And we're here with Mike Lamb and Ronin Arms. Now, believe it or not, Mike Lamb and I go back a little ways. Long ways. Maybe like a year or two, maybe 10. 12, 15 years. Maybe 12 or 15. It's been a while. It's been a while. We've done a lot of long range shooting together. We've done a lot of suppress shooting together. His business has supported my business back. When I launched my logo and just a great freaking guy. So if you're looking to support a business, look for good people that actually give a F about people. And this is your guy. So tell me about Ronin Arms. So Ronin Arms specializes in integral suppressed weapon systems. So basically, you have traditional suppressors, and then you have what's integral suppressor. A true integral suppressor has a barrel suppressor system where the barrel actually goes completely inside of the suppressor. And then a true integral suppressed will also have a ported barrel system. So the concept behind this is standard 115 grain ammo that's normally supersonic. The gases bleed off while the bullets traveling through the barrel. It reduces the velocity to subsonic levels. And so you get subsonic ammo, subsonic performance out of standard range ammo that's cheap, easy, affordable.
147s are what, almost twice the cost of 115. So twice as much shooting, same sound level. So here's my take on integral suppressed. Now, little secret, you all already know I have 57 silencers because I'm an absolute nut job and I have a lot more on the way. I'm crazy. He knows that better than most. Having said that, an integral suppressor shouldn't be your first silencer.
That should be your second or third. No, it's definitely not your average Joe suppressor. And people are going to complain. They're going to say, this is for just this gun. But that's the point. It is so good at just this thing, which is why when you say, well, that's two mission specific. I want a duel. I want six guns. But once you hit your duels and you realize they don't do all very well, you say, I heard a guy with an integral suppressed MP5, MPX. And man, I heard the bullets going through the air. I didn't hear the gun going. I heard it hit steel. I didn't hear the gun going off. That's the kind of stuff that makes you say, you know what, maybe I need to invest in an integral suppressed gun. I mean, it's Hollywood quiet. I mean, the MP5 SD, a lot of people in the industry, they know it as the king of kings. It's referred to you all the time. It is probably the quietest, softest shooting suppressed weapon that's out there. 100%. There's nothing that comes close to it, except for now. So I got to say, when we had some events some time ago, Lots of events. Lots of events. And there was all of these cool things. I even had a, remember that PCC class I had where you brought all these and no hearing protection the whole class? Yep. That was phenomenal. Now, there was another event where we put some of these on the line. And I had to walk away for a moment, put someone else in charge. And I just heard, phew, phew, phew, phew. I was like, OK, I need one. And I came back. I said, Mike, make me one. Make me one now. These things are absolutely phenomenal. And the truth is, when you hear it on video, when you put it to a decibel reader, it performs. Yes. Putting your hands on is really the only way to understand. And that's why we hear it can con. Yes. Yes. And not all integral suppressors also created the same. Yes. Like, we put a lot of thought, a lot of design, a lot of technology into the suppressors, into the barrel systems, even into the weapons platform itself. Like, you know, the MPX, it was supposed to be the MP5 killer. That was the MPX.
It originally was designed to come out as an integral suppressor. SIG never did it. But we figured it out. Yeah. So we're doing it in that. You got AR15 stock, You know, Scott and I were talking about just that, about your suppressor versus some of the mainstream guys, which we're going to have one soon. And we're going to put some side by sides. But just the sound quality and the purpose driven is like no other. Sound quality, the purpose driven, the lack of blowback. It's probably, I would argue it is the least blowback integral suppressor on the market. Well, I've been neighbors with, so I bought one early because he sold me on the idea. Not just on the MP5, we have the MP5SD. We're building the MPX, right? We've got the integral suppress 22. I mean, the rabbit hole just keeps going deeper for me because this stuff is super, super cool. And now I'm playing with some of the more mainstream guys. And we'll put them head to head, and we'll find out who wins. So we've actually done that over the years. I think currently we own everything except for an original H&K suppressor for the SD line. We have all the name brands. We have all the one offs that were made by companies as, hey, try this SD suppressor and tell us how it works. I can vouch that it's amazing. I look forward to going head to head, doing some of my own experiments. But I can definitely vouch that. We could definitely do another video on that, where we can, I mean, 10 different suppressors that we can put on the same platform and go ahead and do it. I tend to go to movie press kit, man. Pacing. Pacing. Pacing. Beautiful. Like, as always. It's gorgeous. It's pine trees. Appreciate you, Scott. Looking forward to that MPX barrel. And stay tuned for much more from CanCon.
